A select group of students from Grant Union High School (located in Sacramento) have been fortunate enough to be invited to see Hamilton, the musical, in San Francisco, but have unfortunately been met with financial challenges. After completing an extensive unit provided by Lin-Manuel Miranda and the Hamilton organization, the students secured the tickets. In addition to receiving tickets, three of our students' final projects were selected, earning them the honor of performing on stage with the Hamilton cast. Unfortunately, the cost of the bus and lunches will not be covered by our district. As discouraging as it sounds, it is our reality. We are looking for your help in this time of need. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that cannot be missed. We are seeking funds to cover both the cost of the bus and lunches.
