Sleeping Safe

Hi folks, 

I’m writing this as I lay in a warm comfy bed, heaters are on and it’s cold, wet and miserable outside. As I’ve sat here scrolling through my phone, shopping for my upcoming birthday and reluctant to get out of bed, I’ve come across a post about an elderly homeless lady with barely few necessities and no idea when her next hot meal will be. I’ve volunteered many time’s before but I suddenly realised that could be any one of us and let’s face it we are in the worst times right now, so this year for my birthday and across the winter months, I want to at the very least give a sleeping bag to keep someone warm, or a hot meal to keep someone filled and I hope you’re able to join me in making this happen. We all get so busy in our day to day, stick a few pence in the charity box or a quid in someone’s cup. This year I want to go the extra mile and see a face of relief when they’re given a warm sleeping bag! Hope you can help! Stay Safe!
