Sleep Out- Youth Empowerment Edition

There are so many homeless youth struggling to sleep outside in Peterborough. Along with struggling to find shelter and basic necessities, many homeless youth are also victims of human trafficking. Agencies helping these individuals are at full capacity and need our help now more than ever. This is why a second sleep out will be help on September 10, 2022 at 7 pm.

People are asked to register and sleep outside at the venue with a sleeping bag and piece of cardboard to show support and solidarity for youth who have no choice but to do so in this heat. If needed, people can sleep at home and join virtually also.

This sleep out will provide an opportunity to fundraise for the YES Shelter for youths and families as well as the Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre.
