Help support Nicole

Hello, my name is Logan Shanafelt. Recently my friend Hailey and her mom unexpectedly lost Hailey’s step-dad, Dave Koval. Dave was a veteran, serving in the United States Air Force and a tower climber since he was 18. Pictured is Dave with his wife Nicole Sheriff.

Since losing Dave, Nicole has been working two jobs trying to make ends meet. Nicole also tackles these two jobs while battling Crohn's Disease. If you don’t know, people who live with Crohn's Disease can have flare ups with one of the main causes being stress.

Unfortunately, Nicole has had to take unpaid time off of work in order to take care of herself- especially after losing her husband on 12 July 2021.

Currently, Hailey and her mother have both been working to get any assistance possible, with lots of calls into lots of places. If you are able, I am asking anyone who would like to contribute to help this family get by until assistance comes to please do so. Hailey and Nicole are two very lovely people and anything would be taken with so much gratitude.

This fund will help out with medical bills, living expenses and a disability attorney.
