Ski to Sea Race Fundraiser

Sadly, Whatcom Events needs to postpone the Ski to Sea Race for a second year and as a non-profit operation, this puts us in a situation where we need to ask for support from our community for the first time to ensure a stable future. Our plan is to renew the race in 2022 under circumstances that will allow it to continue for years to come. The 2020 cancellation resulted in a $65,000 loss to Whatcom Events.
You contribution will help keep our organization strong through a second year of no income. This campaign will go through Wednesday, March 31st at which time we will mail out merchandise (to lower 48 US States only) appropriate with your donation level (see below).
Your support would mean the world to us and the Bellingham/Whatcom County Community to ensure that we can Continue the Legacy that is the Ski to Sea Race (circa 1973). We would be grateful for donations of any amount and appreciate you sharing this campaign far and wide.

$50 - You are champ, you have our deepest gratitude, AND you get a Ski to Sea Tote Bag and a sticker. Orange, teal and white printed on a black certified organic tote bag. As of 2/22, the Beanies previously provided at this level are SOLD OUT.
$60 - JUST ADDED MARCH 2nd. Two Ski to Sea glass pint glasses and two stickers. White logo on front of back of clear pint glass. Limited supply (8 pairs) and available for local pick-up ONLY. These WILL NOT be shipped.

All merchandise will be available for pickup in our Bellingham office Thursday, April 1st from 12 noon - 5 pm. A drive-thru pop-up will be set up so you can stay in your car (please wear a mask) and you can also have someone pick up for you. 2227 Queen Street, suite 6.
Please follow up with an email after your donation and let us know if you are able to pick up locally or if you need your merchandise delivered/mailed to you. Merchandise we have received a shipping address for will be mailed on Friday April 2nd. Our email address can be found on the CONTACT page of our website .
