I have finally gathered the courage to ask my friends & family to contribute whether its $10 or $500 and join me this holiday season in giving back.
Sometimes, it seems like the world’s problems are too big for one person’s assistance to really make a difference. One arena where this is certainly NOT the case is education. History has taught us that helping one person to get an education can make an enormous difference. I am a living proof of this.
Many of you know I am from Nepal. What you may not know is that I grew up in Godawari – a village in the outskirts of Kathmandu. I was one of the lucky few that received sponsorship from people like yourself and was able to attend school until grade 9 which is when I came to the US. Additional details on the school can be found below....
Many cannot afford education but it is possible with little outside help. There are countless children in need in the neighborhood that I grew up in and I need your help. I want to allow as many children possible, the same opportunity a stranger provided me: an education and thus a chance at life.
As we say farewell to 2017 and ring in 2018 – I want to see how big of an impact we can make together!
This time around I am asking for a one-time contribution, but if you would like to sponsor a child for continuous education please contact me. If you would like to send me $ directly or have contacts outside of facebook interested in helping please contact via DM or email me.

Details and background
St. Xavier’s School, Godavari is a school under the management of the Nepal Jesuit Society. Nepal Jesuit Society is the Nepal branch of the Society of Jesus, an international Catholic Religious Order. The Society of Jesus was founded in Europe by St. Ignatius of Loyola in 1540. Members of the Society of Jesus popularly known as the Jesuits, have been active in the field of education and other fields of service worldwide since its origin.
Members of the Nepal Jesuit Society manage St. Xavier’s School, Godavari. In Nepal, the Society has been engaged itself in the field of education since 1951 and is now reaching out to the least developed regions within the country. Besides its schools, the Society also runs Social Service Centers for the orphans, differently-abled, aged and invalid. The Society also reaches out to many remote villages in the country providing them basic medical facilities through its Mobile Clinic projects.
All its work is directly oriented to realize its main objective: to bring about personal and structural transformation and inclusive development in the country through education, social services and health services.
