Hi,

We are Dylan and Levi 

We have created this fundraiser in the hopes of being able to gather up enough money  to begin starting a family. As two gay men, the steps to begin building a family are a bit more complex than the average american family. We are currently Engaged and plan to tie the knot in either late 2021 or early 2022


It has always been a dream of mine to be a father.  I have always been a very involved uncle and love my nieces and nephews deeply, but i found with all of that love, i was left feeling sad and incomplete not having children of my own. i knew having a family would be expensive and challenging. Even still,  we have begun the process of becoming licensed to adopt in the state of Maine. However, with my excitement came a crushing realization as i began to  research the costs associated with starting a family as a  Gay Couple. 

The Average cost of adoption in the United States is estimated at about $43,000

The Average cost of a surrogacy pregnancy in the united states ranges from $90,000 to $130,000

The price tags are exceptionally high, and seem only reserved for those that are either well to do, or spend a lifetime saving and only to have a limited portion of their life with their child. Though it is my dream to have a biological child through surrogacy, the high cost means it is something that i will probably never achieve in my lifetime. Adoption while being lower in cost, is still pretty high for the average working family. 

It is my hope that through gods grace and the kindness of people that there may people out there who can find it in their hearts to help two wonderful young men become fathers. We currently have two dogs that would some human brother or sisters to play with!
