Having shoes is a big deal! most people have
many pairs of shoes for every outfit, imagine
not having any shoes to protect your feet.
During my time in Kenya I noticed there was a
need for shoes mainly to prevent children from getting jiggers (small sand fleas) these fleas invest in feet, legs and entire body making life very uncomfortable and a struggle to do everyday
tasks. We purchase used shoes which are
inexpensive yet good quality for children in
need, the average pair costs $6.
This year we are also raising money for sanitary
pads for young woman whom don’t have the
funds to purchase them, this way they can still
attend school and carry on with daily life.
Over the past 5 years over 300 pairs of shoes
have been purchased thanks to you’re
generosity.
