Thrills for a Cause: Help Us Reach Six Flags!

Please help us celebrate one another. We are making moves left and right. What better way to celebrate one another than with a trip to Six Flags.

THE CAUSE

Amidst the collective achievements and milestones reached by my peers and me, there's a shared understanding that sometimes, the best rewards come from within. When one of us achieves something remarkable, whether it's mastering a challenging piece of music, securing a scholarship, or demonstrating significant improvement in academics, we come together to celebrate in style.

A trip to Six Flags would become our collective reward, a chance to revel in each other's success and bask in the joy of our accomplishments. It's more than just a day of thrills and excitement; it's a symbol of our unity, resilience, and unwavering support for one another. Through moments like these, we reaffirm our bonds, cultivate a culture of mutual encouragement, and inspire each other to reach even greater heights.

MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Tina Perumal, a senior at Van Buren High School and native of Jamaica Queens, shines as the recipient of the prestigious Commander Award from P.A.L. and the NYPD. As an intern at Life Camp's Creative Arts Lab through the Department of Youth and Community Development Work, Learn and Grow program, Tina's dedication to community service and administrative prowess has earned her recognition. Set to be honored at the Police Commissioner for a Day ceremony on April 16, 2024, at One Police Plaza, Tina's achievements also include her acceptance into the esteemed John Jay College of Criminal Justice for the Fall 2024 freshman class. Tina is currently organizing a peer to peer fundraiser aimed at empowering young people to celebrate one another's achievements. Through this initiative, participants are awarded trips to nearby attractions like Six Flags Great Adventures as a form of recognition.

A FEW RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF MY PEERS:

Lotto, DJ Corey, KJ and Renzo have been accepted into Carnegie Hall's B-Side Music Program.

Gregory won 1st Place at the Nu Omicron Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Talent Hunt

Seku won 2nd Place at the Nu Omicron Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Talent Hunt and was accepted in the Brooklyn High School of the Arts

Renzo won 3rd Place at the Nu Omicron Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Talent Hunt

Swish, Honcho, Lotto and Otay were accepted into the LIFE Tech E-Commerce program and are entering the launch phase of 3 innovative new web businesses.

KJ won the vice presidency at his school's student government

Anonymous successfully completed 3 sections of their GED.
