Sister from Ukraine settling in Australia

We all know what is happening in Ukraine at the moment and it feels especially heavy when it is so close to home. My sister arrived from Ukraine on the 19th of May with her two kids to live with me in Australia. It has been hard for her emotionally to leave her husband and home behind to come here and have to set up her life from the beginning. She feels lost and uncertain in what the future will bring. It’s her birthday on the 15th of June and she will be celebrating it away from all her friends and most of her family. I hope to uplift her on that special day by giving her some financial support so she can feel like things can and will get better.
