S.I.N.G - Supporting (those) in need Darlington

HELLO.

 

FIRSTLY, YOU CAN READ BELOW WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO.

 

WE ARE TRYING TO RAISE £350 TO BUY A BIG BOX OF TOYS. EVERYTHING WE BUY WE WILL UPLOAD ALL PROOF OF PURCHASE, ALL RECIPTS AND PHOTOS OF THE TOYS.

 

 

Who are we ?

Here at S.I.N.G (Supporting (Those) In Need Group) we aim to provide support to those that come accross hard times and that are in need of that little help from time to time...

 

We are a team of 4 lads genuinely wanting to put what we can into something that is going to help those in the community that fall on these hard times...

We all work full time, we are not millionaires, but we feel that we can set up a group that can grow into something great for everyone involved...

As we grow we hope to become a group of people of our town of darlington in contributing and donating towards putting hope in those that are lost in certain times of their lives...

 

Events:

We have just done our first Christmas in need day and the team thought it was a great success... we may not be able to solve all these families needs but we can certainly help in having their kids open that little bit extra on Christmas day...

And we thank all those that helped in with their donations to the cause... its been a difficult couple of years for everyone so can only imagine the extra difficulties families are going through during these times...

 

Donations:

We will be setting up a way for people to donate to the cause and it could be anything from furniture/toys/clothing/sports equipment/ board games etc (anything that people feel others could benefit from and use)

We also feel its important to be transparent with donations especially cash ones so will be making sure that cash donations are recorded and transparent for the person donating to see how and what their donation has contributed towards...

 

Summary:

We are only just starting in this movement and learning along the way... our intentions are well and even though we can't help everybody we aim to do what we can when we can for the people that are genuinely in need for help...

And hope people of darlington will get involved with us to make the movement a great success but also to show an example of how, when a community come together for those who are not as fortune as others, we can change peoples perspectives.

 

People are in allsorts of different difficulties and for all different reasons and we want people not to feel like they can't reach out and that there isn't any support out there and hope that we can all realise we can all do more for everyone...
