Simone Beats Cancer

Hello everyone, my name is Simone Theodore and I am 29 years old. I was born with a congenital heart disease called Hypoplastic left heart syndrome. This means my heart developed with three normal chambers instead of four. During the first 18 months of my life I had three open-heart surgeries that helped me to grow into the woman that I am today. Thankfully, throughout the years as a result of medical intervention and living a well-supported family life, I have made it through many close calls and have grown into someone who appreciates life, living and laughing; always knowing that one day I will need a heart transplant. This is the day!

However, sadly enough I was recently diagnosed with liver cancer in the fall of 2023. And now day-by-day I pray to keep having the faith that I need to see this through.

I recently had a BRAND NEW ultrasound treatment at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland Ohio, called Histotripsy. This procedure is on the cutting edge for the treatment of liver cancer and my expert Doctor really reduced the burden of cancer on my liver. I must continue being aggressive and progressive in order to receive both a new heart and liver.

This has been a very long journey and my family and I have experienced miracle after miracle because you have prayed. At this time would you kindly help me raise the funds that are needed to continue this journey? The medical expenses collected will pay for unpaid medical insurance bills, travel expenses by air, by car as well as lodging.
