Silence for baby Olivia's fight

My best friend's daughter Olivia was diagnosed with a brain tumour on 4th January this year. Olivia was just 17 months old.
She is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy. Since then there have been multiple complications, including the loss of her sight which we are praying is reversible. It is likely going to be a lifelong journey to keep the tumour stable and prevent it from returning.
Olivia’s tumour is a huge slow growing Grade 1 Optic nerve /hypothalamic chiasmatic glioma which is located right in the centre of her brain and affects her visual pathways as well as many other cognitive functions. It is potentially life threatening and certainly life limiting.
I am doing a 24 hour sponsored silence on F̶r̶i̶d̶a̶y̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶3̶0̶t̶h̶ ̶M̶a̶r̶c̶h̶ ̶2̶0̶1̶8̶ Thursday 29th March (one day earlier due to Friday being a bank holiday!) as a reasonably quick way to raise funds for Olivia's ongoing hospital expenses, travel expenses, educational support, new learning tools (Olivia absolutely loves music and sensory experiences), and with providing Olivia with full time care (with people whom she loves and recognises)!
I will be at work during the silence so this is going to be a little challenging when trying to communicate with clients and fellow colleagues, plus any activity I may do on the Friday night! I will have my trusty whiteboard with me to write down anything that comes into my mind!
Matt and Lisa Taylor, Olivia's parents, are also looking into treatments that may not be readily available in the UK (e.g. a drug Avastin that is not available on the NHS).
They are facing huge emotional and financial demands and I am so proud of them, and baby Olivia for their immense bravery and positivity. Therefore I am doing absolutely anything I can to lighten any of that load.
