Early morning on the 09/09/2025 The Sila Family were woken by sirens stepping out of bed already feet unde water. The river system had burst its banks and over flowed in many locations one right next to the Sila residence.

in a mad scramble to wake the kids and get them to safety the whole bottom floor they had just built pouring their heart and soul into was totally inundated with water and rubbish from the river … They have lost everything

The Families Scooters totally ruined a car hired by Dewa for his business nearly washed down the river uninsured he now has to pay for on top of loosing everything Food, Bedding, Clothes, Electrical Goods the whole lot gone or water damaged. Those that have been to Bali know full well of the dangerous contaminants and harmful bacteria it carries posing a further risk to their health as the cleanup begins.

Anyone that has had the pleasure of meeting Dewa and Putu and their beautiful family and given the unwavering hospitality this news will hit you hard.
