Sikhs In The City Clubhouse

This year, I'm taking on a personal challenge: running the iconic London Marathon! While the miles ahead will be demanding, I'm fueled by a deep passion for a cause close to my heart: Sikhs in the City and their ambitious project to build the Fauja Singh Clubhouse.

The guidance I received from Sikhs in The City throughout my running journey, starting at a young age, has been invaluable. This clubhouse will be the foundation to extend that same support and opportunity to future generations of runners, allowing their journeys to flourish as mine has.

For years, Sikhs in the City has been a vital part of our community, working to foster positive change. I've been connected to this incredible charity since I was 10 years old, witnessing firsthand their dedication and impact. Now, we're embarking on an inspiring endeavour: to create a multi-use, eco-friendly Clubhouse named in honour of Fauja Singh, a world record holder for the oldest marathon runner.

Fauja Singh's story – starting marathon running at the remarkable age of 93 – is a powerful testament to the human spirit and the belief that anything is possible. His life embodies the very essence of what this Clubhouse aims to cultivate: health, well-being, and a strong sense of community.

Having the opportunity to represent Sikhs in the City in past marathon events has been incredibly rewarding. Now, as I prepare for the London Marathon, I'm even more determined to raise crucial funds for this transformative project. The Clubhouse represents a chance to create a lasting legacy of wellness and community spirit, inspired by the incredible example of Fauja Singh.
