Dallas Keogh-Frankling, at the age of just 17, had an incredible love for the game of footy. His dedication, enthusiasm and undeniable talent on the field was tragically cut short on the 27th May, 2023. Dallas was playing an under 18’s game for the Castlemaine Football Netball Club, pouring his heart and soul into every play. He landed awkwardly in a tackle but played out the remainder of the game unaware of the severity of the impact. Dallas' condition deteriorated rapidly; becoming seriously unwell in the change rooms moments later, he was rushed in a critical condition to Hospital but could not be revived, leaving his family and communities heartbroken. Dallas's sudden passing has left us grappling with an unimaginable loss. It is difficult to comprehend how such a vibrant and promising life could be taken from us so soon. One thing that always stood out about Dallas was his infectious smile. It had the power to light up a room and bring joy to everyone who encountered it. His smile was a reflection of the happiness and positivity that radiated from his kind heart and beautiful soul. Dallas had a way of making others feel seen, heard, and valued, and his genuine kindness touched the lives of many. We’d love to provide the opportunity for when Mark and Ashton are ready, to send them on a holiday. To allow them some time to rest and help regain the strength to return to their life at home without Dallas. We would be forever grateful for any donation, no matter how small, in order to support the family and give them something to look forward to. Our goal is to help alleviate the financial burden of this trip, so that Mark and Ashton can enjoy their time away without having to worry about the cost.
