Hi! My name is Joie Schubert, and I have traveled to many places and NOWHERE has ever been like home, other than Shuckers and The Cottage Beach Bar in Fort Myers Beach. To have been able to call this my "second home" without even having a home there should tell you something. I went for the people. THESE people. These people made us laugh, make memories, and feel at HOME. These people embraced us and served us, and relied on us to make their living with smiles on their faces, no matter rain or shine or 100 degrees. Now it is our turn to take care of them, rain, shine, or hurricane. Let's all look deep into our hearts and pockets and see what we can do for all these people who lovingly cared for us for years. Please donate what is on your heart, and let's help these people survive while trying to rebuild and find new jobs.
