Showmen's Mental Health Awareness Charity

I am running 100 miles with a giant teddy bear on my back to raise awareness and funds for The Showmen's Mental Health Awareness. For centuries showmen have travelled between the great fairs of Nottingham and Hull, but never before on foot whilst carrying a giant teddy bear on their back.

Showmen's Mental Health Awareness is founded and run by people who come from the showmen and fairground community. The aim is to break the stigma around mental health in our community, and to provide support to those of us struggling with mental health issues.

The charity has a great deal of support, information and mental health services that is offered to all Showmen in the UK and Ireland, (of all ages).

It also believes that education is prevention. The Charity aims to support the community with educational materials, workshops and lectures for both adults and children.

It is a fantastic charity that really makes a difference and it would be great to see your support and donations.
