Show Support for Holocaust Survivors:the Maytashes

This week I heard Holocaust Survivor Zoltan Maytash recount the horrors of Auschwitz at a joint Israel/Russia event at the UN. Taken by the strength of his words, touched by the look on his face, I was moved beyond words. Even more so, after learning they are having trouble making ends meet.
I believe in Remembrance, but feel stronger about TAKING ACTION, which is why I went to see them last night. I believe we must all spread good around us, as a million different lights can shine stronger than the sun. So today, after learning the Maytashes could use our help, I am asking you to remember not only the Holocaust, but remember them, the survivors. Allow them some compassion and give them comfort as they share their senior years together.
We are raising $15,000 to renovate and refurbish their small apartment in Brooklyn.
They have been through enough. Now its our time to DO!
