Most of you have been on this IVF journey with us and know we’ve tried twice for a successful treatment. Both times have failed, my body just doesn’t have any healthy eggs to produce. So now it’s on to the next step. We have decided to have our baby through the use of an egg donor. Our baby won't have my eyes but will have my heart. I’ll still be able to spend 9 months feeling tiny kicks in my belly, and will still get to be the first person to hold our baby. We picked a clinic in Washington DC called Shady Grove. The program, while expensive, gives us 6 chances to conceive. Statistics say we have a 95% chance to have a live birth with those 6 chances. This GoFundMe is my replacement baby shower. I don't need the streamers and punch and cute baby outfits. I would love your gift to me to be our baby.
