Many of us have found ourselves in the Old Port! Whether it is working, drinking, dancing, or just partying like rock stars! If you are one of those, then you must know Kay? Every weekend, rain, snow, hot summer nights, and every other weather Maine has, there is Kay with her roses. Kay has been selling her flowers for over 20 years! She always has a huge smile for everyone and always has the most beautiful flowers that seem to last almost forever! We would love to have all of you join us in giving back to Kay.
She has not been able to go out and sell her flowers due to Covid. She is hoping to be able to see everyone this summer! She recently has been tirelessly taking care of her husband. In the meantime, we would love for anyone that is willing and able to make a donation for her! All money raised will go directly to Kay, to show the love, respect and solidarity for her!
She does not know that we are raising money for her, she would never ask for help. Kay does not realize the positive impact she has had on the community and how many people care for her, that's honestly part of her charm. Anything help, feel free to write her a message in the comments too!
******* UPDATE: Kay DOES know about the GoFundMe!!! She has known for a couple days. We spoken on the phone and Kay told me to do what I felt was right in my heart.
Kay would like to express her sincerest gratitude to all of you so, there will be an appreciation day for those who have shown her love and support. We will be setting up a table in the Old Port and she will be handing out flowers!☺️I will let everyone know when the date is and where the table will be located when the time comes!
