Short film called "Camp Gaveri"

My name is Anton (an actor and writer), and I'm fundraising to shoot a short film about seven boys in a claustrophobic camp cabin as they face social anxiety, power hierarchies and toxic masculinity. I've been working on the script for a year and am excited to be finally directing and making the movie. The main character is Lucas, who’s new to the camp. The film starts with him silently writing in his journal about the nasty dynamics and claiming to be above it all. Tensions between the seven boys build to a series of wrestling matches and an ultimate showdown of dominance, mortification and masculinity. Lucas becomes keenly aware the bestial nature of the group and learns about acceptance, forgiveness and loss. I'm fundraising to cover the cost of equipment and food for the young actors and crew, all of whom will volunteer their time during the three-day shoot. Thank you!
