Our Shmeichel group in Antwerp has been established in 2009. Since then we go around to many families and bring a "shmeichel" on their faces.
There are families with either a ill parent or a sick child who need special attention and extra care.
Every week we form a group of a few members that go to these families to sing and dance and be mesameach.
Shmeichel is now looking for new volunteers to expand and to be able to visit more families. To achieve this we are throwing a chanuka party where new members and their friends are invited and can commit to be part of our Shmeichel group.
We will show them clips of places we have been to which include visiting patients in the hospital, in their homes and even singing at their Bar Mitsva.
To make the atmosphere complete we will provide a nice meal and hand out souvenirs.
We will be delighted if you can help us raise the money needed so we should be able with the help of Hashem to continue being mesameach others today, tomorrow and a whole year round!
