Hello, We are a group of design engineers, teaming up together to design, and to fabricate low cost, disposable face shields which will be donated to the South Shore hospital in Weymouth, Massachusetts at free of charge. Our design has been reviewed and vetted by medical professionals at South Shore hospital (Weymouth, Massachusetts). Last weekend (April 11), we have launched our mass production line to start producing the face shields. As of now, we have enough material to make 1,200 face shields. South Shore hospital has requested 10,000 units which puts us out of reach. We are overwhelmed by the number of units requested, a lot of friends have convinced us to start GO FUND ME to help supporting the good cause. We will utilize the raised fund to purchase materials to make the face shields (PET, double sided tape, Velco, and foam) We do understand this is a very challenging time for all of us but if we are united we will pull through and win this war. For those of us still can, please support us so we can provide the tool to those at the front line, who are sacrificing, defending, protecting us from COVID-19. We will support this initiative until we are exhausted all resources and avenues. We would like to thank you and wish each one of us and our families safe and healthy during this challenging time.
