Sherry's Fight Against Cancer

As you may know, Sherry was recently diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma (kidney cancer), and will be having surgery Wednesday, January 29. They will be removing half of her kidney, unless they find more once they are in surgery. This will require her to have an extensive hospital stay followed by months of recovery and treatment. She is self-employed and will not be able to work at all during these months.  Chuck is one of our brothers at Union Township Fire Department, which requires him to be away from Sherry for 24 hours at a time. Chuck and Sherry have three children, Kelsey, Kara, and Charlie. This will put a significant financial strain on their family.  We are raising money to help ease the emotional and financial stress they will face in the coming months. We all know that cancer is the disease of the unexpected, so although she has a good plan in place, things don't always go as planned.  We want to make sure they are as stress-free as possible through their journey.  If you know Sherry, you know she is always willing to lend a helping hand to others, and always puts others before herself.
