Standing Rock Winter Shelters

Redhawk Native American Arts Council and Redrum Motorcycle Club are coming together to stand in solidarity with the Water Protectors at Standing Rock. Having had members from our groups at the camps since August, we have been active supporters of the #NoDAPL fight, both on and off the frontline. With temperatures projected to drop to near-zero degrees within the next two weeks, keeping the Water Protectors warm and dry has become a serious priority. We will be raising funds to purchase ten (14) winter shelters (pictured above), complete with a wood burning stove/heating unit, each able to sleep 10-12 people. We are supporting Red Warrior Camp, Rosebud Camp, New York Camp, Hummingbird Camp, Mohawk Camp and Split Rock Camp.  Each complete unit will cost ~$1,000. The goal is to deliver these units to Standing Rock before Christmas.
