Shelby Family Fund

On October 31st, 2020, we lost a dear friend in Steve Shelby. Steve always welcomed anyone with an open heart. His ability to connect and empathize brought comfort to those around him. Steve’s ingenuity to make art and his craftsmanship in about every skillset fostered a community of doers and lovers. Our hearts are broken but we will keep Steve forever in our hearts especially when we ski, dance, ride bikes, surf, fish and hold each other close.

This fundraiser is to support the three people who will miss him the most, Charity, Isabella (9) and Starke (7). Your contributions will help the Shelby family lay Steve to rest in the most honorable way as well as allow Charity the time away from work to take care of Isabella and Starke. 


The Shelby family is the epitome of community, Steve would always stop to help a friend. From fixing a brake light on a trailer to building a chicken run for a neighbor, he was reliable, patient and loving. Your support will bring that kind of generosity back to the Shelby’s during the time they need it most.
