She loses it, I lose it

My name is Jack Billy Woods, 14 years old. This is my mum, Sarah. She has been suffering from stage 3 breast cancer since January 4th. January 4th is the day I returned home to the devastating diagnosis of her awful condition, I wasn't sure what to feel but scared and worried about the challenges we may face and the danger my mum's health was in. Initially, my anxiety played along and I have become extremely fearful. As time has gone on, she has progressed through her tough chemotherapy sessions but is still standing strong, I couldn't be more proud. However, considering her use of the cold cap, a cap used to reduce the amount of hair she loses that inflicts pain whilst in use, she is still losing a large amount. Therefore, I and my friends have decided to shave our heads in sympathy, as it pains me to see how upset she gets after losing each amount of hair after every session. In addition, I have started this fundraiser to raise money for Cancer Research in the UK as a favour for the many who are also struggling with this condition or for those finding it difficult to cope.
