SHE is a nonprofit organization, led by youth in order to provide proper sanitation, and empower women in rural areas. Many women in our world lack access to sanitary products since they do not have financial support.
We as a team are collectively working towards creating sanitary packages for homeless women in the US during these unprecedented times. These packages consist of 1-2 reusable pads (provided to us by Saukhyam an NGO in India), handmade masks, hand sanitizers and a dental care kit.
Reusable pads can last longer for homeless women compared to disposable pads. Along with this, they are better for menstrual hygiene and for the environment.
All proceeds go towards products for these women along with any initiatives supporting this cause. Small or large, all donations will help us in this endeavor.
