Sharilyn Gagnon Children's Trust

Hi Everyone,
On behalf of Sharilyn Gagnon’s children, we as a family (Edwin Gagnon(Sharilyn’s Father), Chris Gagnon(Sharilyn’s Brother) and Marion Crompton (Sharilyn’s Sister))are conducting a fundraiser as a way for people who were wanting to donate to or support a trust that will be set up in their name to help them through life with education or future pursuits. The trust account is currently being set up at the Royal Bank of Canada and will be managed by Edwin Gagnon, Chris Gagnon and Marion Gagnon until the children (Georgia, Preston and Jaden) are ready to pursue post secondary education or to help them start off in life as young adults. I (Chris Gagnon), will be transferring this money to the trust account.
Sharilyn was taken from us March 23, 2021 through a violent homicide, leaving 3 children who are in the care of the family. This is another example of the epidemic of violence that women face everyday, these women are not just statistics. These women are our grandmothers, mothers, spouses, daughters, sisters, aunties, nieces and friends. Regardless of race, colour, creed, orientation or religion, no woman should face this scourge. We ask people to also consider supporting efforts to mitigate violence against women.
Sharilyn will forever be remembered by her family and friends that knew her generous, caring nature.
