Shannon Clark Memorial Fundraiser

Im deeply saddened to say my sister Shannon Clark has passed away on April 24th, 2023. At home with our father, peacefully asleep in her bed. The day after she turned 29 years old.
At this time, no plans have been finalized with her services, but we are busy forming plans as we process this shock and suddenness of her absence in our lives with a funeral arranger. We are still awaiting the coroners report on why or how.

My sister was an incredibly attentive daughter, a twin sister and all hands-on God Mother to my son, who coincidentally shared his birthday with her as he was born just the day before and had only just turned one.
She was a special girl. A vivacious, intelligent and brave woman who melted hearts with her humility and consideration for others. Whose infectious smile lit up the room, going out of her way for everyone, boosting morale and making the most of every opportunity presented to her. She had a great sense of humor, loved to share a laugh, and cared for so many so very deeply.
A selfless and sincere spirit, always eager to lend a helping hand. Effortlessly kind, gentle and compassionate.

She was an enthusiastic trim technician who loved her team and took the time to show newcomers what she learned in her trade.
An active member of her church and in the community. She volunteered constantly ; from cleaning up local parks, to preparing meals for the homeless and less fortunate and just simply advocating warmth and unconditional love on all fronts.
She was intentional in her goals. She had a passion for reading and was a talented writer.
She loved to cook for our Father, be there continually for her nephew, she felt strongly about building family everywhere she went. She certainly did exactly that.
Her impact was ever- present in everyone she met.

She had a fondness for her self-improvement and spiritual journey books. She watched historical documentaries frequently, we shared a mutual passion for psychology. Enjoyed music, taking sentimental pictures and videos and trying new foods. Shannon was always the first name to sign up for any event. She kept up with her school, tirelessly working through illness and invasive surgeries she’s had her entire life. Yet she always overcame obstacles and rose above difficult times. She had a bright future ahead of her.

She was best friends with her dog. Simpatico with her other half, her twin sister. She was always supportive of me during my trials and encouraging regardless of the circumstances or tribulations. She forgave easily and devout in her responsibilities to herself. She loved her whole family, kept up with all the cousins, aunts and uncles.

Shannon will be greatly missed.
Not only by her family, but by everyone whose life she touched. She always took great pride in her education and special care of her relatives and relationships.

To honor her with a mass and the send-off she deserves, we are setting up a foundation to assist in post-secondary provisions to assist our Dad with the costs of preserving her memory and honoring her life. Allowing us to pay our respects and anyone else who wishes to attend some road to healing and to say our last goodbyes.

Needless to say, the discovery of her untimely demise left us shook, devastated and financially unprepared.
I will update this page with the costs of the services selected and offered.
With your donations, they will directly go to the cause that she held above all else. Her family and friends, than we can all be together and give tribute to her experiences and integrity.
With this help, we can find some peace of mind. And finally begin to properly grieve and she can receive the love she gave others consciously and without hesitation.
We hope to help her as she would’ve done for anyone else. Please consider us during this difficult time.

Thank you for your generous show of love and support. Keep us in your prayers.

Sincerely, Her older sister, Chelsea
Her Twin Sister, Kelli
And most of all, Our Father, James Clark
(Her nearest and immediate family)
