Shane Pruden- loving father and more

Shane Pruden died a tragic, accidental death on Friday, February 2, 2024. He was only fifty two.

His beautiful and generous children wish to help with the end of life costs for their father, despite tremendous financial struggles of their own, and already helping with expenses for two other funerals within the last two months. This meant the death of their beloved aunt, their close cousin, and most significantly, their own father since only Christmas, when many were sharing gifts and joy they could only imagine!

My husband and I will contribute significantly to the funeral of my brother but it is their expressed wishes that we not do it alone; hence they have asked for me to request your help. His ex partner has also asked for this fund to be set up, and she plans to help in any, and as many, ways that she can! They will share this message, and we ask you to please do the same. You will be helping single mothers who had to work this Monday, despite their father only dying a few days prior. It if for two disabled people. It is for the six young children who have lost their grandfather, a few of whom will never know him. This is not a request for a valued charity or arbitrary, though important cause. This is for overburdened individuals you know, have heard about, or, at the very least, would want to help out of the kindness of your hearts. Just message or call me and I could tell you many stories of their love, their support for their father (and one another), the trials they have gone through, and the tremendous strength they have shown! These are hardworking, resilient survivors worthy of our admiration, our respect, and any assistance we can provide!

I ask all to dig deep, if they can and feel so inclined. I guarantee, with all I will ever have or be, that they have dug deep, in every way imaginable. Any contributions are appreciated, of course, as is you spreading this most humble request to share during this most horrific time in their lives.

We will still be looking for other funding sources, but it will not be possible to cover all costs involved. There are even rent expense as the daughter he shared a home with looks for another roommate, despite worry that some may be less than trustworthy.

I thank you so much for your consideration of this important matter. Shane held a special place in the hearts of the many he helped. As you will see from the photo, he was happy, which was no small feat with the pain he endured during his life with us. He will be greatly missed. He was loved.
