Hi! My name is Stephany. I am a 1990 Shaler Area High School Graduate and a classmate of Jill Moratto. Along with fellow class mates James Iwanski, Dana Liberto and Gina (Volpe) Ciminel we felt compelled to help out Jill during this difficult time of her life.
As most of you know, Jill has stage 4 breast cancer that has metastasized to her brain, bones, lymph nodes and lung. This is her second battle with cancer since 2012.
It's been a little over 25 years since most of us here in Shaler have seen Jill. We remember her to be spunky, fearless and always having a smile on her face - very true to who she is now! Always a kind word for everyone- no matter who you were.
A little over 9 months ago our class held its 25th High School reunion and Jill was not able to attend due to work commitments. She was very much missed and one of the most asked about students. Those of us that are friends with her in Facebook live vicariously through her Island life -envious of her paradise living!
Paradise is not all it's cracked up to be....our friend Jill needs our support more than ever. Although she is and always has been a warrior - she needs and deserves our help. Fighting cancer is hard. Not only physically and emotionally but financially too. Help us state side to ease her burden during this fight for her life. We have set up a go fund me page in Jill's name.
