Set Me Free: Pad Campaign

Donation protected
SET ME FREE is an ongoing initiative to raise funds to purchase sanitary products.

PERIOD POVERTY is still a struggle many vulnerable girls and women face while trying to afford menstrual products. Often, this forces girls to miss school or participate in daily activities. Your continued help is key to setting them free.

A monthly menstrual cycle can be a complex experience for many young girls and women. Some may find it a sacred, reflective moment, while others feel deep emotions, stress and pain. Whichever the experience, it is a time when the body requires additional care and attention.

Imagine if you couldn't access one of the most basic requirements during this time - sanitary napkins.

It isn't easy to imagine experiencing a cycle without proper sanitary products, but this is life for girls living in Kimana, Kenya. Our friend, Dorcus Parit, founder of the Hope Beyond Center in Kimana, Kenya, is working tirelessly to change this reality. Her center is a haven for young girls seeking refuge from child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM). However, Dorcus is committed to improving the lives of all girls in Kimana, not just those at the center. Along with community volunteers and many girls from the center, she travels throughout the surrounding area to deliver sanitary products to girls. Due to the devastating effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, Dorcus has struggled to secure the funds needed to purchase sanitary products.

SET ME FREE is an ongoing initiative to raise funds to purchase sanitary products for girls living in Kimana, Kenya. Without proper pure products, girls are forced to stay home from school and other activities during their cycles. They must also resort to ineffective and unsanitary methods, which often lead to infections. Many girls in the region are survivors of FGM, which causes heavy-flowing cycles. Therefore, they must have access to proper sanitary products.

$5 will purchase five boxes of sanitary napkins. Each box contains six sanitary napkins.
$5 will usually meet the needs of one cycle for a girl.

Please help us support these young girls by donating today. Your contribution will change lives.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, and God bless!
