My nephew was in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident on the Dallas North Tollway on Sunday. Here is the latest update. He had a three-hour surgery today to repair broken bones in his arm, and they had to spend an extensive amount of time cleaning the massive amount of road rash that he has all over his body. He made it out of surgery and is back up in his room at the hospital. It’s going to be a long road to recovery because they are treating it like a burn patient with the number of wounds he has all over his body.

Continue to lift him and our family up in prayers and pray that they can get his pain under control and he can have a restful night tonight. It’s going to be a long road to recovery once he gets home with in-home wound care needed daily.

But the most important news is he is ALIVE!!! The doctor said his helmet saved his life!!!
