So many of us have been affected by the recent events in the world. The service Industry is one that has truely been hit the hard by COVID-19.
With most restaurants and bars closing their doors completely, unsure if or when they can reopen. To the few that are trying to stay open with deliveries, working with little to no staff. Think of your favorite restaurants or bars and all those people who are now out of work wondering how they are going to pay their bills or for groceries.
Minimum wage is hard enough to live off of and even with help from EI they are only getting half of that. It is not enough and industry staff may need your help now, just to get by.
