At Serafina & Cicchetti, we talk about 'famiglia' often. Famiglia includes our staff, guests, family, friends, neighbors and many more. Over the past 29 years, these restaurants have created a place of comfort, happiness, laughter and, overall, a welcoming home. The reason for this is the family behind us and, most of all, our staff. Without them, Serafina & Cicchetti would not be the restaurants that you have grown to love over these many years.
The Seattle restaurant community has been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Serafina & Cicchetti have every intention of reopening, but in the interim, our entire staff is out of work. While most will be approved for unemployment, the benefits will be a fraction of what they typically earn. In a city with a high cost of living, unemployment will not be enough to survive. We have received numerous messages from members of our famiglia asking for ways to support us during this unprecedented time, and we thank you for reaching out.
100% of donations will be distributed between employees to assist with the financial hardship they are enduring. We do not have an exact timeline for when we can reopen, but please know that as soon as we are able, and feel it is safe for our team and community, we will. Food and relationships can create a lifetime of memories and we look forward to being able to get back to doing what we love. Thank you for your support.
