Sensory room for dementia care home Skelmersdale

Hi my name is Carol and my mum is a resident at Arron crest nursing home Skelmersdale Lancashire.She has dementia and has suffered for many years and is now in the late stages.I had an idea that a sensory room would really help the residents of the home and would help them with all the colours and sounds to help them with there senses.Especially those who are bedridden and just sit there all day in front of the TV.I believe this would greatly help them and that every care home should have one.The activities coordinator of the home thinks this is an amazing idea to help the residence in the home.I am doing this for my my Mum who can’t talk or move now but also for the other residents that will benefit from this.Please could you donate as much or as little as you can because every 1.00 helps thank you.
