Send Tal on a Medical Outreach in Guatemala :)

Many people in Guatemala do not have access to healthcare and education due to the scarcity of health institutions and schools, lack of trained professionals and inaccessibility to transportation and funds. This summer, I will work to help alleviate some of these healthcare concerns in the Medical Outreach trip to Guatemala I have joined with Volunteers Around the World (VAW) at George Mason University. In mobile clinics across the community, I will have the opportunity to intake patients, conduct public health surveys, take vitals, shadow local physicians, work in the pharmacy, and teach education classes. 

In order to make this trip happen, I need your help! The deadline for the necessary costs is May 3rd. The donation that you provide will be used to help fund the necessary costs to get me to Guatemala and help treat patients. These costs include hiring local health professionals, purchasing medications and medical supplies, and my transportation and lodging while in-country.
