Memorial for Romario G. “Bubby” Allen

In August 2017, as Romario was approaching his junior year of college, he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Unfortunately, after two years of fighting with this aggressive disease, his team of oncologists informed him that there was little they could do.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear brother, son, family and friend Romario G. “Bubby” Allen on September 1, 2019.
Romario was passionate, humble, generous, charismatic, loving and a true FIGHTER most of all. He had a passion for basketball, was highly motivated to complete his bachelor degree and firmly believed in inspiring others from near and far. His dedication to inspiring others was displayed through his short documentary. Romario was one of a kind; his energy and memories will live with us forever.
The Allen family would like to thank you all for your continued thoughts, prayers and support. The outpouring of love from phone calls, hospital visits, prior donations and social media support has been something we will never forget.
At this time, the Allen family are planning the funeral and memorial services. Any bit of help in support of funeral expenses will be greatly appreciated as we honor our new angel.
