Service Trip to Kenya

Hello! I am fundraising for a volunteer trip to Kenya through International Volunteer HQ. I will be volunteering for the month of June and I will be participating in the women's education project. Due to ongoing initiatives to support those affected by HIV/AIDs, many women living with HIV/AIDS are still able to continue and function on a day-to-day basis, but need the support to be able to do so. IVHQ and their local partner work closely with centers which support these women, and their families, providing counseling, guidance and sometimes childcare. As a volunteer I can assist in any area including counseling, skill-training and campaign/education development.

What Your Donations Cover:
The cost to volunteer alone is $550. This covers the cost of my home stay in Kenya (room and meals), salaries of the IVHQ employees, transportation to and from the airport and other basic needs I may have while in Kenya.
Other costs include:
Registration Fee ($260)
Flights ($1800)
Travel Insurance ($200)
Volunteer Visa ($50)



If I raise above my goal of $2,600, the left over money will go towards supplies I will be able to use for my projects
