Seeking Peace and a Future Beyond Gaza Bombardment

Hello everyone.. My name is Adel Al Zaharneh from Gaza, Palestine. On the ninetieth day of the ongoing war, I find myself forced to ask for your support and your standing with us. My family needs you. We are looking for security and safety, and peace as well. The occupation destroyed our home and our workplace. The occupation destroyed our past, present and future. We find ourselves in a state of constant despair; We are not superheroes, just humans like you. Furthermore, I aim to help my family leave the area because we are currently homeless due to the Israeli occupation. We have been forced out of our homes and into shelters in the south since October 7. But there is no safe haven here. Every day seems like a hundred deaths, as we live through wars of famine, disease, murder, captivity, injustice, and monopoly. Our mental health is still in constant danger. I cannot fully describe the three continuous months of suffering. This ongoing genocidal war is unlike any we have ever seen before. No one should have to endure such injustice. We never expected such a long war! The scale of destruction is enormous. Gaza needs at least 20 years to regain some semblance of what it once was. The costs of leaving the crossing gate (the border) are very expensive for each member of my family, approximately £7,000, and we are 7 individuals. We cannot pay it because we lost our property, and this is the case with all Palestinians. I am communicating in the hope of obtaining financial assistance to achieve my educational aspirations and support my family’s journey to safety. .
