Angels Reach Foundation was founded in 2004 out of the need presented by one of the founder’s children.
The young child was a beautiful, gentle little girl who entered a silent and overwhelming world when first diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2. For nearly 20 years since then, Angels Reach has provided unique and highly effective academic and clinical programs for children with Autism and related disabilities.
Over 3,000 children and their families have walked through Angels Reach’s doors to find therapists who truly care, teachers who are passionate about making a difference, and a team of professionals with genuine passion and dedication who help these special children find their voice, make friends, and grow into compassionate leaders in our community.
In 2020, Angels Reach found itself without a building to house their school and therapy programs, but after an exhaustive search and a great deal of sacrifice, the foundation was able to secure a beautiful landmark building in the Town of Miami Lakes in 2021, which the town council voted unanimously to allow a change of occupancy to convert it into a school building.
Celebrations were short lived as they soon learned that changes to the building were not going to be limited to the exterior changes the town council had required. A $1.5 million dollar renovation is needed to take place within the next 6 months in order to obtain the change of occupancy and meet code requirements for the state of Florida and Miami-Dade County.
A minimum of $600,000 is needed immediately to get the renovations started while operations are maintained. Angels Reach is currently supporting 75 special needs students in a temporary location, but the children are suffering due to the sudden changes imposed upon them and cramped conditions which the school has been grateful to secure only until the end of this school year through the kindness of another local private school.
The foundation has dedicated all of its resources to funding operations on its own without receiving any government assistance as many of the families it serves are low income families who cannot afford to pay tuition because they are additionally burdened with the extra expenses of caring for children who require specialized therapies, medical care, diets, and environments.
I can confidently say that Angels reach will provide the relief that many families are longing for in numerous ways. Not just those attending but we are very active and always have open arms through our programs and out reach projects.
You may be aware that we recently - Executed a social distanced holiday event that extended gifts to 20+ families through a drive in. My personal therapeutic goals for my clients have always been to create relationships with sister schools promoting empathy and inclusion.
We need our community to please open their hearts to these beautiful, deserving children, and support Angels Reach in establishing the secure, forever home to house the school and therapy programs these children and their families need now, and have depended on for nearly 20 years.

La pequeña era una niña hermosa y gentil que entró en un mundo silencioso y abrumador cuando se le diagnosticó autismo por primera vez a la edad de 2 años.
