Kari Bahour is the founder of Water Smart Tots, a Tampa nonprofit dedicated to eliminating child drowning. “With kids, school, and work all moving into people's homes during the coronavirus pandemic, it's easier than ever for parents and caregivers to be distracted. Our sunshine state has seen  a startling increase in an already-high statistic: child drownings. We must be relentless to help raise awareness to eliminate pediatric drownings in Greater Tampa Bay by offering swimming survival skills.”
