Seaham Marina Beach Ramp in Memory of Pauline

Donation protected

As I’m sure many of you willing to donate, share or even read this are already aware my Mam, Pauline Robson passed away suddenly on the morning of Friday 30th April. Mam was a woman who enjoyed life to its fullest, she lived simply and beautifully. I was recently asked where her favourite place was, I thought about it for a moment, and her favourite place was wherever her favourite people were; her family and friends. She just enjoyed simplicity and always said “I want no fuss”. So in lieu of flower, I would ask that if people would like to give something to express their grief and to celebrate Mam’s life, they can donate to this page.

The money will be go towards a feasibility study to have a ramp built down Seaham Harbour Marina to make the beach accessible to all. The study needs to raise £4000. If I’m being honest, my Mam never really liked receiving flowers, and I know just how much she’d love this idea. It would promote the wellbeing of those who need it and make the beach a space for all, as it should be. It will also be a space where those who loved her can go to reminisce, sip a coffee, gaze out to the sea and smile as they remember her infectious giggle and the way she touched their lives.

Any additional funds raised will go towards the actual building of the ramp. I’d like to say thank you in advance to those who donate and share.
