Prevent Child Abuse America Donations

Prevent Child Abuse America is a voluntary non-profit organization that leads the way in building awareness, providing education, as well as preventing the abuse and neglect of children. The Alpha Mu Chapter of Sigma Delta Tau at the University of Miami holds an annual fundraising event in order to progress the awareness and prevention of child abuse. Last year, our chapter alone was able to raise over $20,000 and we are aiming even higher this year.

You can donate to our cause through this link as well as purchase pinwheels. The pinwheels are part of Prevent Child Abuse America's campaign, Pinwheels for Prevention. This campaign uses the purchasing and display of pinwheels to raise both money towards education programs and awareness of the problem at hand. The pinwheels purchased from our chapter are displayed on the green outside of the Otto G. Richter Library, where many students and members of the community walk by every day. Pinwheels are sold at $3 each. If you would like your donation to aid in the efforts of this campaign, please include the amount of pinwheels you would like to purchase in the note section of your donation.
