Hello! Thanks for taking time to read this....
'Veterans Contact Point' is a charity close to my heart because it is a local charity in Warwickshire. I serve with the military and understand how important it is to remember and support people who have served before me. I know that anything I raise for them will go towards developing services to local Veterans, which I think is even more important these days. It has already successfully delivered many successful projects involving the Armed Forces community, including several aimed at Veterans in the criminal justice system. As a small charity it could really do with a little extra support to continue to help our service leavers and ex-forces community.
Therefore, on 26th November starting at 9am I aim to start as many (one mile) laps of Warwickshire Police's Leek Wootton grounds in a 24 hour period. (Hopefully 100 laps, but let's see!). Not only that, I will be carrying a 50lb in weight military bergan on my back the whole time as a personal reminder of giving back to people in our community that have sacrificed so much for us past and present.
