School Playground Communication Board

Hi there! My name is Allyson Stobaugh and I'm a Speech Therapist in Princeton ISD. I have been working with the Special Education population for over 5 years now and absolutely love the community I work with. A personal goal of mine is for every student who needs extra assistance communicating with others to have the tools to be successful wherever they go! I want to provide that voice for these kiddos.

I discovered a wonderful company called Smarty Symbols who create these amazing communication boards and specifically one for the school playground which I loved! This one board on each playground could help students who need assistance to play with peers, communicate with friends and teachers and most importantly give them confidence!

My goal is to provide one communication board for Lacy Elementary where our student with special needs population is very heavy as well as one at Smith Elementary where we also have other students needing this tool at recess.
