Scholarships, etc. for Counseling Ministry

Donation protected
At Grace for Individual and Family Therapy, we provide counseling services to any who need. We don't charge for services, only one assessment that we provide at our cost. We do accept donations, but they are never required.

We need funds to do a few different things. First, we need to spend approximately $1,000 on becoming a non-profit or 501 (c) 3. This would allow us greater flexibility (lower costs) in several areas and it would make donations tax-deductible.

Also, folks do come in that cannot or will not pay the initial $35 fee that covers our cost for processing an assessment that we always start with (and we must according to licensing requirements). So, we want to create a scholarship program for folks that need it.

We also have fixed annual expenses that run over $1,500 per year.  Then, of course, all the standard expenses like ink and paper, etc.

Currently, we are located inside of a small church with free rent.  But we want to buy our own building so that we are no longer restricted in the hours we can operate because we currently would collide with other ministries if we were in the office every hour we would like to be. We also hope to begin holding marriage/pre-marriage seminars as well as drug use prevention workshops. We need a new building to be able to do this.

All of your donations would benefit people who truly need help. We will be able to improve our reach to help more people with fewer restrictions. Myself, Matthew Hogan and my wife, Kimberly are dedicated to helping people in any way we can. Won't you please join us?
