The Schlesingers Fire Recovery

My name is Haley Franks-Tucker and I'm from Southern California.   My cousins, David, Kim, and Tobin Schlesinger, have been living in Santa Rosa, CA, for the past few years so Kim could complete her medical residency at Santa Rosa hospitals, and David has been working from home as an editor.  The Schlesingers lost their home in the Coffey Park neighborhood in the early morning hours of October 9, 2017, during the Tubbs Fire, barely escaping with their two cats and the clothes on their backs.  Rental insurance will eventually cover a portion of recovery costs, but as they lost virtually all of their belongings in the fire, they will need immediate and extensive resources to completely start over and pay for temporary accomodations until they can find permanent housing, clothing, toiletries, food, small kitchen appliances, cookware and dishes, linens, furniture, home office supplies (i.e., computer, printer, desk) for David to continue his editing work, etc.  Please donate whatever you can to help them get back on their feet!  David is the beneficiary of the campaign and will start withdrawing the funds within the next 30 days as they find a place to rent and purchase items to go in their new place.
